ACDR versions

v5.0 [May 10, 2013]
- ACDR is now "donationware" for non-commercial use. This is a type of freeware. There's no fee to use it, no nag boxes, no advertising, no time limit, no reg-codes, no crippled features. However we do make this plea, that if you like it and use it, you can/should make a voluntary donation - both as a "thank you", and to support the continued development of ACDR.

- Added support for EBU R 128 volume normalization.
-The "Find covert art..." button now works again with albumart.org.Also, the output file path is now posted to the clipboard when you hit this button (as you'll probably want to navigate there to save the cover art).
- The ripping progress is now also shown in the taskbar (Windows 7 / 8 only).
- The output file format list is now formatted so that you can type in the first letter of the file extension to search in the list.
- Removed support for less commonly used file formats.

v4.3 [Dec 2, 2010]
Added a "Find cover art..." button to the "Reading and Converting" page, providing a quick way to search at www.albumart.org.
It now uses less CPU-power (and may be slightly faster) when the output format is PCM 16-bit stereo and no processing is done (i.e. resampling et c). This is due to support for a new "Direct Stream Copy" path in the underlying AwC library.
Resampling speed has been improved - changing the sample rate is now up to 9x faster than before.
Added support for writing to unmapped network shares using UNC names (paths like "\\server\share").
Added support for writing Apples Core Audio Format (.CAF files).
Writing Monkeys Audio files (.APE) now requires MACDLL.dll (included in the codec pack).
Updated the codec add-on pack (now v1.7) with the latest versions of various external dll's.
Minor cosmetic improvements.
